Sharing is caring! take six!
Not much to report today.
* Got u pat 5:00 am in order to take a bus home.
* The said bus was 40 minutes late (even thought Brno was his first stop/station of departure) so my ass almost froze at the bus station because the weather has gone mad and it´s barely above 0 °C here during the day. The driver didn´t bother to turn the heating system on for the first hour, until several people went to him and asked him to do so. Even after that he used it very mildly.
* Went to the dentist again. He was an arsse (my favorite word today) again.
* Had an argument with my dad about law, again. Tried to explain separation of powers and their checks and balance to him, again. His conclusion: The individual doesn´t matter to the state and I want to abolish all the law, because it does not protect me. AGAIN!!!
* Played cards with my parents and their friends all evening and learned that it is not a good idea. Again.
Moving on …
Also I used to have this motto in the past, very cynical one and I come back to it only when I am at my worst, I tend to have a more optimistic approach now. I have no idea who said it, if someone said it, where it came from, but : “Smile, tomorrow it will get worse!”
One more thing I want to say. I accidently clicked on a “friends page” of one of my friends and saw my post there. It was huge!!! I am sorry. I have a wide layout and relatively small default font, so it kind of didn´t occur to me how much space it can take up in some else´s view. I´ll try to use LJ cut more wisely in the future. I am grateful for you all having patience with me.
At the end, here is (not so cryptic) message: THANK YOU!!!

“If I find in myself desires which nothing in this world can satisfy, the only logical explanation is that I was made for another world.”

Lewis fascinates me as a person really like other people who are able to create an original universe like he did. And maybe that quote explains it a little. And I really really am drawn to his logic here!
Oh yeah and I have read few poems from Spirits of Bondage. Have you? Some of them are totally "romantic" in a literary sense of the word and then some are so dark and he is so torn. I like them, I like how he can be short and brisk and then thoughtfull and vague ...
