I have somehow survived the week of doom. And Saturday would have been a really lovely day, had I not have to interact with my mother via emails. But I woke up today, and one of the first things I saw was THE lollipop, and I decided I will try to selectively forget the end of my yesterday.

I have my advent wreath! I want one more thing which is what is here called a Christmas rose, for both my flat and my work actually, but I’ll see if I actually manage to shed the money for that. ;__; OMG money. Right.

I managed to talk to my ♥ co-mod today, and it’s not like I had any doubt, but we are now gearing up for another round of fic_the_faith! YAY! Sign-ups will start somewhere mid December and whoever participates will get their assignment only sometimes in January, so I think that is enough of time to kind of take a breather from exchanges . . .

Now, I was NOT going to do a wish-list for many reasons one of them being the fact I honestly don’t think I’ll get around to fulfilling much (or more like any) from others this December. You may call me a little selfish, but it might also have something to do with all the exchanges this year and that I plan to write more or less for myself only if I write in December. Which means, fluff, probably RyoDa, not much plot, easy, things none of you ladies craving plots are into. If I write . . . because I should be writing about Protocol 14 of ECHR and let me tell you that will take some time.

But then I keep thinking I want lots of things. I mean the material ones. Which none of you can fulfil obviously. Right now, I can only think of about half of the stuff I came up in the past two weeks. It has a lot to do with the fact I moved and lack things I had at home. Even if my family asked, I would probably go, “I don’t know what I want . . . anything is fine.” So this first wish list is in reality a list of things I’ll be saving up for from now on. If I manage to save up ever . . . And I figured it might cheer me up somehow making this list (don´t ask about the logic behind that), so I went for it.


1. Blender (basically I want one of these multifunction things that blends, makes whipped cream, and chops things . . . )
2. Kitchen scales. Come to think, normal body scale too would be nice.
3. One of those things you put under your PC, this or this among the choices. So when it is elsewhere than at my desk, it does not overheat
4. I have a sneaky suspicion my hair dryer will not live for much longer
5. Tons of books for work O.o
6. New phone. The Slovak one has died of low battery the other day and I can’t get it to start up properly
7. Full body length mirror
8. Lol theme for a dissertation thesis
9. Oh and the bag for my PC fell apart. So far I haven´t found anyone who would be willing to fix it ;__;

There was tons of more the other day but I forgot. Maybe that is kind of good.

Now on the fandom/fic front, it is much easier.

Well that was easy. Now, to be serious. You people make me happy all year long. I suck most of it, and I am happy you tolerate me, so the biggest Christmas present for me will be if you keep being awesome pie as you are. And I demand that any of you that will get anywhere in 200 km radius of Brno will let me know, because chances are I will attempt to meet you.

Now, a little announcement. Since my landlord is kind of a douche at times, I might not have internet for a while starting December 1st. The old contract for this flat is ending, and he said he´d take care of it, but I haven’t heard anything about it ever since, and I got tired of writing him emails he won’t answer. I will still tweet random things like I am cold/pissed/hungry from work on occasions and I will abuse the internet there to at least check my email so if there is anything you want me to know, mail me! Or maybe he will surprise us. Have a good week!

i'm going to be honest and say that i'm still waffling over doing ftf again after everything that's happened this year. i've actually been thinking about it this entire time, and i haven't yet gotten to the point where i can handle having the jincident™ addressed in a negative light, which puts a HUGE limit on who i can write for/who can write for me. however, if that is the case, i will sign up for your ryoda thing to make up for it. ♥ (as long as i don't have to write romance. >.< i am okay with getting sucky fic as long as i don't have to write romance. xD)

I actually like feelings. and am more non Au person. since you asked.

IDK me and Gwynn talked about having a Jincident clause of some sort. We want people to tell us in their signup what they do not want. And really which kattun fan/writer would have negative POV about the whole thing and still sign up for an exchange that INCLUDES Jin and the mods of which are saying we still love him?

As for RyoDa, last year I had people only say what they really do not like in their sign-up and then put down a few prompts. I was then basically pulling names out of a hat to match them up and reverted the "hat´s" decision only if they seemed too incompatible. So if you can swing the prompt not romantically . . . Also it is really short and quick exchange, low word limit, small time frame, it really is quicky compared to any exchange, let alone the complicated deal that is akame´s kizuna ex.

Overall the exchange wish was very general. Your negative issue thing is why I think there will be even less participants for ftf this year. Because I think people who have problem with tolerating Jin won´t sign up. Then, last year we had 20 people, I know most of them and I don´t think any of them would bash either side. But that still means 20 or less. I don´t think we are going to attract the "general public" this year. And ryoda. Well is ryoda lol. Don´t worry about it. You don´t have to do either, though I will be sad not having you in ftf "crew." Sad but understanding that is.

i think if there's a specific clause and the mods adhere to it (which i'm sure you will), i would be more likely to sign up. i don't think any of the other participants (i'm thinking of my friends here) are nearly as butthurt about it as i am. xD i just don't want to pose a problem for you or gwynn in the assigning process, make my writer feel uncomfortable, or write something my recipient won't like because of her own views on it. i actually have yet to write kat-tun properly since *it* happened, and while i'm sure i could swing an au or just completely ignore it, idk if that would be enjoyable for me. these are my own issues and i hope you understand that it doesn't reflect on you, gwynn, or the exchange personally. ♥

as for ryoda, i was already thinking about doing it anyway, because i haven't written them for awhile and i'm an exchange whore. :Þ

Well, I cannot solve your side of the issue. As for the writer´s side of the story. By agreeing to write for an exchange, you agree to try and adhere to your recipients wishes and as much as mods try to match you all well, I think the writer should be aware of the fact she/he might need to venture out of their comfort zone a little, that they might to work a bit differently as usually. I might be strict in this but I believe you are responsible for your own choices (of entering such an event). That is what you are getting yourself into, or so I believe. I have gotten a big lesson on it recently when my recipients in recent exchanges matched me so so, but I said I´d do it and I still tried my best. The same would go for your writer that would have to count on you having a Jin clause the same way she does. On the other hand, you´d hardly got assigned to someone who would say they "like 5nin kattun much more and the group is better off without that jerk Jin."

As I said, I get the problem, it is why I expect the drop in numbers and the final decision is on you. And the last thing is me taking it personally. So really No worries!

Regarding the exchanges, I think I'm not doing ftf. I really want to do both ficolate and kizuna_exchange and I don't think I can squish in another fic without possibly screwing up my a-levels. /fail
But I really do hope many people will sign up for both. If only because there's always something great to read. :D
