Continuing with the happy meme:
Rules:
1. Post about something that made you happy today even if it's just a small thing.
2. Do this every day for 8 days without fail.
3. Tag 8 of your friends to do the same. I am not the one for tagging, feel free to snatch it.
So today:
- I finished my Jeholls at 4:00am!!! It totally counts as today even if it was before I went to sleep. The rough writing was done at the time, I need to properly fix it up. I thought I would have done that by now, but I had all kinds of appointments today and always only like an hour between them and given the length and me wanting to read through it in one go to find out if I won´t bore myself to death (and by proxy everyone else) it´s not done yet. It is my next task. I don´t have a beta for it, which poses an obstacle to finishing the whole process but problems exist to be solved so I have faith.
- My other happy experience today is the whole haircut “adventure”. I had an appointment at 7:00 pm which is really late, but it was the only option. I like the girl who cuts my hair recently and since it was this late, there was only one other customer there, the ambiance was really nice, the music was relaxing and she always gives me almost a massage when she washes my hair, so it feels really really nice. I have awesome hair now, I am back to dark color for a change, looks good in my opinion. I wish I could do my hair how she does it. I try and sometimes get almost close, but despite doing basically the same thing she does, the result is never IT. Anyway it was just a pleasant 90 minutes I spend there. While I was waiting for the color to … you know color my hair, I read a typical magazine for women they had there and was pleasantly surprised by one section. It gave me loads of interesting thoughts and I will probably write about it here on LJ by omission next weekend as I want to discuss it with all of you. We´ll see. I think the magazine, by having that section between all those make-up tips, grew in my eyes immensely.
- I found this in my email right now. It´s authors reading (probably, since he was planing it) organized by my friend. LOL that was the only thing the email contained, not even "Hi, I made it." But I am proud of him for pulling it off, he is not the one to organize anything really and it just proves how serious he is about poetry. I will be there for him in spirit, I hope the event is a success!
- I talked to Riiiisa!!! I just wished for it yesterday and it happened. Of course I had to rush off very soon, still thank you, dear national holiday, for actually allowing us to meet!!!
This might be all I post for today, the happy meme feels more like a diary in my “style”, but given my objective, I really want to put down all the happy moments, so I see that they prevail …
