Kimi ni sachi are ( happy #1)
Nov. 25th, 2009 11:14 pmAgain I am doing something completely different, than I should be. It is all Locknie Hsu´s fault, her article drained me.
With all the PIN vibe around, I am enjoying the ride, my f-lists does all the work for me in finding links and pictures and funny things. THANK YOU!!!
In other news, this killed me, the little boy is win! Whoever he is; and I totally get his infatuation with Koharu-chan. It brings nice lols to the My Girl stuff as well, so I hope he sticks around.
My sister yet again bright blue hair deserve a honorable mention, I would link you but she obviously locked the post. I just felt like it was THE NEWS today.
I am going to do this meme purely because of me and myself. I need to remind myself that I am happy almost all the time, because lately I just keep whining about things I am NOT happy about. It´s not very “me” and I don´t want to be coming home remembering only the bad things, forgetting the good and fun ones. The meme came in handy, and I am snatching it from myxstorie who is my brand new friend ♥
Rules:
1. Post about something that made you happy today even if it's just a small thing.
2. Do this every day for 8 days without fail.
3.Tag 8 of your friends to do the same. I am not the one for tagging, feel free to snatch it.
So today:
- I was again praised by my boss. This is kind of getting normal, but the last time I was in work properly (almost two weeks ago :O) I wrote a statement for him, that was a little different than what we usually do. He needed it off his table and so he just assigned it to me. Now my boss is super kind, laid back person and he praises everyone almost constantly (or so I feel). When I came in today with the next case of mine, he told me, that he got a call from the vice-head (or something like that) of our office about the statement and she praised it very much, so I did a very good job and that I am very bright. I swelled a little this time, because he was obviously very content with how it went and the comment was quite personal, not the usual great, great (translate: another one down, hundreds to go). He then proceeded to read through my new case and said it is some quality work so I got out of there beaming like a stupid idiot I am. That guy really knows how to make me all mushy. I am going to miss my laid back, well paid internship very very much!!! It boosts my ego, no matter how much I try not to falter in my knowledge of my true strengths and faults.
- To tell the truth, the thing that probably made me happy the most today was me finding this article:
Alexandre Vagenheim: Should Arbitration Be Included in EC Regulation 44/2001?
It was written this year (September!) and I will ignore that it was published in ASA bulletin, which is Swiss journal. It makes me a little confused that no one else is bothering to write about the issue when it is so hot now. I mean Switzerland is not in EU. I know they are one of the most common arbitration seats in Europe and thus are affected by default, still I wonder why everyone else ignores it. Or are they just going to wait for EU to decided? Well I don´t have time for that, my thesis is due in March, first part is due on November 30 so really THANK YOU Alexandre Vagenheim, you are my personal hero.
I´ll try to talk about something less school related on my next happy post!
If by any chance, you are not struggling with your holls or any deadlines and you feel like writing 200 words extra, you would kind of make my desperate efforts worth it!
*edit: cookies for someone who explains my post name to me (all the so far options fitted this post though), my sister has a discussion with herself on my MSN right now, I feel bad for leaving her hanging, so anyone who speaks Japanese and is at least 65% sure of what (everything) it can mean?
*edit take 2: Crys deserves cookies and my sister decided to share her blue hair, so here you go!
