Technically this is also a little late, and I really won't mind if any and all activity carries past October 4th.

To celebrate the wonderful thing that is the bond of one Nakamaru Yuichi and Ueda Tatsuya, who have been giving us joy and shipping material for years now, I challenge you!

Comment to this post and spam pictures, give me your feelings, write fics, post fic ideas and prompts, answer those prompts, share your doujinshi, look for couple clothes, share conspiratorial theories, flail and cry on my shoulder because Ueda and Nakamaru will both be 30 in a month and they still look younger than you, give me reasons why I (I mean everyone) should ship them (more), invite your friends, have a party!

Anything goes, this post stays public, let's have fun! Let's have an awesome MaruDa month. (The idea was not mine, but I sure hope Levy and Seki forgive me for stealing it).

Have MaruDa serenading you because of course Nakamaru takes Ueda with him to his SCP performance.

He couldn’t even swallow. Why had it become like this? Nakamaru felt the goosebumps form at his back; he could feel Ueda’s stare on the back of his neck. With it, Nakamaru felt reminscent touches; the pleas and swearings they’d made when things were simpler. He remembered how Ueda had moved; sleek and perfect, groaning hot memories over his throat as his fingers clamped on his hips.

Nakamaru licked his lips, and looked up at the mirror where Ueda, still leaned back in his chair, but now he had this look fixed on Nakamaru; a keen and euphoric break, eyes bright like Nakamaru had answered his every prayer. It was so dead-set open that Nakamaru sucked in a breath he hadn’t exhaled yet.

He bent his head to his phone, thumbs playing over the keys in hesitant sweeps with everything in him practically singing tension and the rebirth of one basic wish.

He mailed Ueda back. [I’ve missed you so much]

hahahha i was totally finishing this off and going *___* wow, good god, this promised sex probably needs to happen, but then my drabble police burst in and slapped me around for a bit until I remembered to keep it at least below 1k :'D

Also when I began this I totally didn't realise this was going to be the Maruda-with-a-history sort of trope, but I'm so pleased it worked out. Typos save lives, ok?

It's just too many kinds of perfect that Nakamaru's text would autocorrect dubiously.
I loved how everything played out from Ueda stepping up to Nakamaru's last reply. Augh, so many feelings ;_______;

lol I just have this idea of the two of them moving their conversations to text especially where their sekrit trips and holidays, and casual dinner dates usually get a lot of coverage haha.

I actually drew that autocorrect idea from a typo an old friend of mine made in describing her love for coke. The situation had to be done up for Nakamaru ofc.

thank you for the prompt heh. I wanted to write them sexting but then i was also thinking about the whole porn leading eventually to fluff and I kind of wanted to show them being this pair with a history who are still close, trying to be around each other platonically but this incident is still hovering in the background.
