So, I am so behind on reading fics for je_holiday that it´s not even funny. There is too much of too good really. Not that I am complaining. And really all those fics are looooooooong which I love so so much. It really shows how people try hard and really put out for their recipients and by extensions for all the other readers. I am leaving today and I was seriously thinking of copying fics I still want to read and reading them while I am away and commenting when I get back. But I still have around 20 fics on tabs if not more I really want to read. Not to mention all the Arashi gen I will probably end up reading as well, because I secretly love reading Arashi gen. A LOT!

I try to keep going from the fics posted first and up the timeline. I am on like 20th of December, though there are fics even in those first 6 days I haven´t read yet and I want to. But I do have my biases and yesterday I had an awesome Ryo and Jin and Nakamaru strike. I wanted to add Massu to it (there is Nakamassu waiting to be read) but I dozed off at 3:00 am. I do have to spend time with my family over holidays as well. I want to as well.

I am going to link to many fics here. Mostly so I can go back and read them myself. I kind of suck at using memories. I am cutting this, because there is really too much, but if you want to know what I liked so far or you are as behind as I am and want to quickly chose something now, you can try …

Ryoda that made me want to stop writing because I will never manage something so great. Also Ueda is kind of the insensitive jerk (not really, but you know) in this one and it makes it so much better. ♥


Aiba/Jun throughout the ages. WHAT. From the time, when human kind was hunting mammoths to today, they are meant to be. I have no idea what compelled me to read Arashi pairing, but it was so worth it. So much emotions in each every snippet is not even funny anymore.

AU Pin with working Pi and Jin always being there in the park. I cried like a baby at one moment.

AU Akame (seriously since when do I read Akame, lol) . Jin as akindergarden teacher and Kame a freelancer fotographer. The fic includes pictures and Koki and it´s just so soothing.

College AU!!!! Pi centric with Arashi as graduate students. So much lulz and perfect study session. *__*

ASDFGGKJlkjsffhj Tennis AU with Jin a la Marat Safin (only with better discipline), KAT-TUN fic that I didn´t realize it´s a KAT-TUN fic until I was commenting on it. I was so so into it. Jin, Kame and Koki are the most prominent, then Ueda and the rest. Just read it, itś super long, super developed and just totally awesome.

Now comes a string of Ryo with assortment of people, though mostly Shige. I love how much my fandom likes Ryo XD

College AU Ryo/Shige that makes my heart ache. They are so lonely in a way and somehow perfect.

Ryo/Jin Christmas tale and I am super surprised at how much I loved this, those two in such a romantic setting, but I guess I am a total sucker for romance. Jin tries to give Ryo a Christmas present, Ryo is being difficult. ♥

Ryo/Yamapi where Ryo just doesn´t like waking up alone and Pi is away. Ryo deals, his friends help. I would too if I knew he really keeps keys to his apartment that accessible. ;D

Totally fluffy RyoShige with Tegoshi and his positive energy saving the day and some very manly cookies. Perfect holiday fix.

RyoShige AU, where NEWS doesn´t exist and Ryo reads Shige´s essays. And knows them by heart.

RyoShige (hahahaha) in which those two have too much fun breaking up and mocking all the clichés of fandom and any break up fictional scene ever XD

KoyaShige for the win!!! Shige writing “slightly” pornographic entries to his journal addressed to Wagahai is so perfect. I love how you can see them growing up, how the teenage entries grow to the more adult ones …


And honorable mention to the fic for me XDDD When I read my sign-up about a week before the posting started, I laughed a lot and I was sure I am getting KoyaSgihe out of this exchange. But the fic is Ryoda ♥ and my writer should be thanked solely for the fact she tried to write those two together. Anyway the fic is mine so really that is all that matters and it only shows how much I evolved that I enjoyed the background characters in this as much as I enjoyed the main paring …

That is damn lot of fiction and it is not by far all I have read and liked. *___* Also I have learned to enjoy AU immensely.


I am spending next few days in our family´s cottage. With no internet XD. But last year, there were loads of changes done to that place, we finally have a fireplace and very comfortable sofa and it´s just very pleasant. Also hot springs are close to their, and I am so going for a bubble bath there! What a shame it´s so warm outside and no snow. Well, I can´t have everything. I am going to come back for New Years Eve, probably on December 29th already.
