I just got an email from my "Delaware" family. It´s been so long. My "little brother" over there is graduating and owns a truck, my "little sister" is in 10th grade, a cheerleader and in swim team, and has an almost boyfriend!!! HA they all use Facebook. I might go and start using it again properly.
I dozed of staring into my PC last night and realized I really should go and get some proper sleep. I went to bed at 10:30 pm and woke up at 10:30 am. I didn´t even stir in the meantime, so yeah 12 hours, I had no idea how badly tired I really was.
I woke up with a want to write. But I do not want to start any of my projects, because what I need to write is my thesis and writing a proper fic takes time. But I saw this on my sister´s lj so I am snatching it and saying that it will be quick and short and done today as I see the requests. So shoot! NEWS and KAT-TUN (and Ohkura) only. No Tegs or Junno in a romantic pairing.
I don´t really care if you repost it or not, but it would be fun if you did.
I downloaded Saigo no Yakusoku (no link, cause it´s stormy) last night, so if all goes well today I might watch it as a reward. I woke up to sun out of my window. SUN SUN SUN SUN *___* I have missed you terribly! And I pondered a walk. A look at my sidebar however tells me that this is a typical winter sun, clear sky means cold cold cold weather. -12°C in the middle of the day!!! 10 Fahrenheits if you were wondering. I will only look at the sun today.

Ueda´s snow hate
Date: 2010-01-23 01:49 pm (UTC)“You do not,” he says as he holds out his hand to help him up. Ueda stares at that hand, then stares the man down and keeps on sitting.
“I do.”
“You write love songs about snow, you do not hate it.”
“I am over that phase.”
Ryo laughs, moves to stand behind him, hooks his arms under Ueda´s and pulls him up.
“Apparently, you still haven´t got over your stubborn five years old phase though,” he says as he brushes snow off Ueda´s ass. Nice and firm ass it is.
“Besides it´s the ice you slipped on, not snow. You like snow.”
“What do you know anyway?” Ueda slaps Ryo´s hands away. He was taking too long.
Ryo is standing there, watching him, amusement still shining in his eyes. He scoffs tough hearing the accusation.
“I know a lot.”
Ueda doesn´t think that comment is worth a reply, he just gives him a “Yeah. Right.” look. Condescending, ironic, a little daring.
Ryo pulls at his sleeve with no more explanation, he shoves him into a passenger set of his car and ignores Ueda protesting and swearing at him. He could get out of the car while Ryo walked around it to take his own seat. He didn´t.
“We never talk. We don´t meet. Not that I would want to.”
Ueda argues more with himself than with Ryo who keeps quiet.
“I haven´t seen you since …” Ueda ponders, he doesn´t even remember. “And you are acting strange,” he huffs and crosses his arms on his chest.
“You have no clue about what I like,” Ueda tells him again and decides not to talk anymore. If the other is giving him a silent treatment so can he.

“I like snow,” Ueda sighs and never stops looking around, taking in the view, the untouched nature of a park that no one comes to when it is slippery and white. Trees shining white, bluish shimmering light reflecting in the icy beauty.
“Sometimes, it is enough to listen to one´s songs to know what he likes, how he is,” Ryo prefers to watch Ueda instead of snow.
“I haven´t written about snow …” Ueda doesn´t get to finish.
“I know, but it doesn´t have to be there,” Ryo shrugs and doesn´t bother to look away when the other finally turns around to look at him.
“It will melt soon, this is Tokyo, it doesn´t do snow.”
Ueda pouts.
“I don´t want it to be gone.”
“Just as I said. Five years old.”
Ueda wrinkles his nose.
“Write a song,” is all Ryo tells him before he walks back to his car. He has seen enough for today.

I knew this was going to be good when it started with Ueda on his ass in the middle of a sidewalk. The dialogue was so wonderful in this. I love dialogue . . . <3

I am going to be entirely selfish and say that I WANT MORE. There is so much you could tell in a fic . . . what Ueda writes about . . . Ryo writing about Ueda . . . maybe they dated a long time ago, and Ryo's sad songs are about Ueda . . . my mind is running wild. Anyway.

And I am not going to satisfy your I want more this time. If my past fic writing has taught me something, it´s to be careful with "more". Anyway you could always "remix" it or just do the sequel or something when you have time ;D
