Quick update. Life goes on, and sometimes I do get this revelation that I will never catch up. That said, I might be little absent over the next few weeks, at least when it comes to my personal journal and IM.
Writing however goes on, I never really do stop. As for my wips progress, people all get ideas on their exchange fics and are pleased and I read about it, so here is my status. DOA writing done. Editing: Rin is dying, I try to make it a slow (and painful) death so she actually dies only after it is done.
FQF: I have had an idea ever since I read my assignment, which probably means I will kill myself writing it. NEWSFicOn! Right, I have no clue, no concept, no story, not even a genre. Way to go girl.
My great friend passed her finals today. Just like that. All four of them, no fear because she is just like that and standing in front of a commission of four professors does nothing to her. She is amazing and has no nerves. She has stopped being a student. I´m proud of her. I´m also a bit jealous in that good way. I do not want to switch positions, I am so so so happy for her, I totally get how she is all giddy and smiley (and I´m relieved maybe even for her) but there is that small part of me . . . Let´s not go there.
I am sick and tired of revising my ____ (I believe I have a promise to keep to all of you). No more of it today.
Give me prompts or prompts and pairings and I might write a drabble or two tonight. I´m not promising anything to anyone, and I might decide I will not write at all. But writing is something that has always been my way to let go, so I will try to exploit that again. If you want to have at least a slight chance of me writing something and decide to give me a pairing, stick with NEWS, KAT-TUN and Ohkura, and do not ask for Tegoshi or Junno.
I am now going to make myself a cup of tea and . . . do something totally unproductive, not on my to do list, not something I have to or have planed, so I can get back to fulfilling and productive obligations from tomorrow morning.

Teddy on the watch (part I)

Ryo’s eyelids were looking heavy, eyes about to close any second now. His mouth was twisted in some bizarre way—chu~ was the first thing that came to Shige’s head actually—and his hair was all ruffled and in his face, as if on purpose.
Shige leaned in closer, searching for some clue about why Ryo was posing like that, and Ryo leaned back, back, more, until he fell backwards in between the couch cushions in NEWS dressing room. Shige stoop up straight and shook his head.
“What are you trying to do?”
“I’m practicing my come hither look.” Ryo looked almost offended by the question.
Shige gave him an unimpressed look that said, right and I am to believe that, but Ryo kept on staring sternly. It was too much, and Shige ended up laughing pretty hard. Ryo huffed.
“Why?” Shige managed to ask at the end.
“To switch it up a little during photoshoots,” Ryo said, annoyance loud and clear in his voice. “Why am I even telling you this?” He asked and left the room. Shige just stared after him. What was wrong with the look Ryo normally sported anyway? It was hot and swayed everyone who saw it enough.
Ryo was at it again, standing in front of the mirror, twisting a little, leaning back, mouth twisting, eyes darting until they caught Shige looking at him in the mirror. Shige was not laughing this time though, and Ryo continued to stare back at him, eyes getting darker. They were far from those sometimes empty eyes of working, posing Ryo from their magazines spreads.
Shige ended up moving closer to the mirror, slowly approaching the man he was watching in it.

Now it had its stable place in their dressing room, often serving as a pillow to hug during the naps. Shige’s eyes, however, never left Ryo’s face, never let go of his gaze completely.
“The teddy over there has better come hither look than you do,” Shige said. He lied. Ryo’s eyes got cold, his face turning sharp.
“But that is my opinion. As long as it works on your fans, all is good, right?” Shige asked.
“Well if even you are not affected, no one will be,” Ryo said angrily.
Shige tilted his head to the side. Ryo was not moving away, not trying to push him and leave, he was still glaring. It all made Shige wonder a little.
“I like your I-just-woke-up-and-I-do- not-want-to-face-the-world look that you give people when hugging that teddy.” Shige’s hand made a motion towards the plushie one more time, but then dropped down to the table against which Ryo was leaning. “I like the look you have on when we are about to go on stage, full of joy and adrenaline and determination. I like the look you give us when you are happy about our performances, about how the concert went. I like the look you have on after you take a shower and want nothing more than got to bed, eyes sleepy and clouded by all the experiences of that day. I like the look you have on when you laugh at something wholeheartedly, or when something excites you and you want to try something just as badly as a small kid when wanting a new toy.”
Shige’s other hand too made its way to the table behind Ryo, who fidgeted for the first time, before he continued. “I certainly do like how you look at me now, all confused and a little uncertain, but determined not to let me win. And I would love to see more of your glares and gazes and fierce looks you have to offer, but I must say I would hate seeing you using your come hither look, especially if you are going to recklessly waste it on your fangirls.”
It was probably Shige who now had challenge in his eyes. They were probably as dark and deep and determined as Ryo’s. They were probably as expressive, as telling and as shy as his. They too probably sought reassurance. Not for much longer. Two pairs of eyes flickered and closed soon as it was lips that provided the final confirmation.
Teddy probably thought of closing his eyes too; too bad his eyelids were sawn into place. He was doomed to watch Ryo and Shige lick the way into each other’s mouth; he had no choice but to see them nipping at lips and sucking at tongues and pulling at hands, and clutching at backs. The fact he saw it happening in the mirror as well sure did not help. Teddy thought that plastic surgery on his very normal eyelids was in order.
