I was not going to post since I spent every free minute I have sleeping, but then I stumbled on "the Swiss joy," so here I am. I have so many memories of Switzerland, trains, tunnels and lol tunnelling the tunnel constructions that I´m all there with Swiss miners. I remember the terribly long train ride to Ticcino quite well, and knowing that is (or will be in 5 to 7 years lol) in the past is kind of huge.

So the story goes, Swiss miners have been trying to dig the longest tunnel in the world for over a decade and today they finally made it through the whole mountain. Or the huge drill did.

Friday's breakthrough was many years in the making. Swiss voters approved the project in a series of referendums fully 20 years ago with digging on the Gotthard Base Tunnel beginning a decade ago. It has also been expensive. The Gotthard tunnel will ultimately cost €9.1 billion euros with the entire NEAT network gobbling up €17.9 billion, double original forecasts. Despite the importance of the project for the European transportation network, Swiss taxpayers are footing the vast majority of the bill.

Today I called my mom and said something about it being JUST 5 days since we left the cabin. IT´S BEEN ONLY FIVE DAYS! It feels like ages ago. This was the most eventful and the craziest week in . . . a very very long time.

I´m currently babysitting, not only my brother but his friend too, and they keep on arguing over Monopoly. It´s driving me crazy, and I don´t want to play policeman anymore. I was totally conned by my parents. I can´t even be surprised. LOL.

Today I also acquired a paper with my criminal records. Which means there is a header and then a huge empty space. It costed me 3EUR, and it was a little ridiculous since she just printed out an electronic record that says nothing, but okay . . .

I finally got a chance to look through NEWS concert pics, and ehm, I think they beat every single bad Arashi costume. KoyaShige are JUST. DISTURBING. But this is kind of hilariously wrong. Also Shige should have kept his long hair, but at least I got pictures like this or this while it lasted. Maybe I could catch up on the rest of my fandom now?

Oh YAY! KAT-TUN new single. Jin too (sometimes soon-ish anyway). And it seems fic_the_faith should have round two too. So YAY! overall? AND OMG KANJANI8 ON HIMITSU NO ARASHI-CHAN! ARE THEY SERIOUS? *Dies*

I forgot to ask what you meant when you said FtF should have round two. As in you talked with people and they said it should? (Not that I am disagreeing or anything, just curious.)

No. It means I talked with my comod and she is up for doing it. I have my fears about there being like no more than 10 participants this year, but we´ll see. I want to try again, and since it seems I won´t work crazy hours, you know . ..

I hope they will have fun. It´s just many people fro last year proclaimed a NO to exchanges in general or to one group ones and you know, the kat-tun fandom is kind of in a weird place right now. And I honestly think pairing people up with only one group is easier.

Hmmm, they said from 7:30 - 8:00am till 4:00 - 5:00pm. But lol they keep mailing with me from work emails much later, so . . . It might be pretty interesting at the beginning, since yeah it looks like they will just throw me in and expect me to completely take over the full workload of someone who has done it for 5 years right from the start. So it might take me a bit longer to get all daily tasks done. But . . .

I´ll probably be up around midnight on weekends, and we´ll see how week days go, depends on where I´ll live too. I don´t see myself going to bed before 11pm one way or the other. <3

Well yes, I am in the group that has proclaimed no to single-group exchanges.

That is not so bad. Or they could be like the people from my work who come in a couple hours late every day (and thus stay late) or like the ones who work normal hours but still answer emails by blackberry constantly. But you could have done a lot worse.

Yeah, and I know it. Hour wise, this job is awesome. It basically has standard hours.

Lol I don´t think they come in late, honestly, they were like, yeah you have to be here, the phones start ringing and it´s crazy. Anyway, for what it´s worth, I am very grateful for a job that has 8-9 of working time only. Some people can only dream of that.

Ponytails in general are awesome on men and yes Shige looks good (i mean great and hot and shdkjshfkd) whit it. But I like his hair let down when long too. That seems to be an exception.

Though I can relate - every year I get a clean paper ( which means I am healthy ) for 5 € because of the dorm. lol.

I actually liked Shige's long hair (especially when he put it in a ponytail... *fans self*). I just wanted it to be neater-looking because it was looking so scraggly and full of split ends. I like the new cut (which is really just the way it was a few months ago lol) and it looks fantastic on him. <3 Maybe if he grows it longer again, he'll keep it neater? I can hope. :D

Hello fellow long haired Shige shipper. But lol in general Shige and his hair is like OTP for me and I love men in ponytail so . . . .

Look at it this way, it was not scraggly, it was ruffled (just woken up, just fucked with someone who likes to pull) hair. That way . . . Ok I will shut up. I have messy hair all the time and I like them all over the place, but I can see how it can turn people off.
