The big bang (or move if you have it)

I last posted 20 days ago. Scary! Anyway there has been very little people reacting to my posts lately. While I try to not let it get to me, especially when I rumble about my private life, when I flail about fandom and nothing happens, it kind of saddens me. I need people to flail with. Anyway, the point is. If you do not read my entries and skip over them, do us both a favour and defriend me. Thank you very much.

Now that the bitching part is over, I have been all over the place in those 20 days. There has been plenty I wanted to post about, but then some things happened that made me draw back a little. I apologize for not commenting on your posts guys, I have seen several picture posts and such *____* so just know that I'll try to get back on track again.

Anyway, bullet points :
* I've gone to see fireworks; and have been on a boat trip and to a castle; basically I'm saying good bye to Brno, and it is sinking in that I am leaving. I admit, it is scary, but such is life.

* There has been my PC giving me blue screen and all kinds of messed up messages so I have it reinstalled and lost all my bookmarks ;____; I also lost that set of cute Japanese emot-icons. If someone still remembers how to install them, I'll be the happiest kid on the block.

* Most importantly, I have packed my stuff here and moved most of it to Prague this weekend (forgot the camera at home, which is why pictures to follow are kind of sucky):

<3 My parents picked me and my stuff up in Brno on Saturday, and on our way to Prague we stopped to eat in some village off highway. They had a tree that is 500 - 600 years old.



O.O We arrived to Prague and proceeded to get stuck in a NEW elevator in my apartment building with the mother of the owner of that apartment who panicked, turned red and started to talk about forgetting her medication for high blood pressure. It took 45 minutes to get us out of there. Click the cut for picture of "my" calming medication:



D: I found my new room not ready and the apartment in a mess (my new roommates did not leave me any space in the fridge or the bathroom and did not bother even washing the dishes before they left for the weekend). So no pictures yet and our first talk will be an interesting one.

♥ Then we proceeded to wander around Prague and eat and have coffee and all around good time. My parents snuck me into their hotel room so I stayed there for the night, which was a great thing given the state of my room.





:D today we dropped the rest of the bags off - thankfully the elevator worked already - and left Prague because it was raining there.

Reminds me of stuff from Jean Tinguely, but there was no sign of what this is and I have no clue how Tinguely's works could get to Vysočina

Anyway in the very little fandom news:
!!! DOA deadline is approaching and I am trying not to panic over not hearing anything from most of the teams.

??? today I came back to concrit meme, so here's my thread, please don't be gentle.

That is all. I am off to find a place where they'll fix my bike in Brno and then collapse because I am soooo tired. I am leaving Brno for good this Thursday and I hope the rest of the move will go smoothly. Talk to you from Prague <3

I'm sorry, I hope it works out for you somehow.

Because if I were you, they would really hate me after the first talk.

That is mostly because of my prejudice against roommates of any kinds I managed to develop on the dorm |D

I hope so too and believe me I will be restraining myself during that talk only because I will then have to live with those people and if they hated me and potentially did stupid things on purpose I might go crazy afterwards <3

Yeah, about DoA...my partner kind of didn't write anything for most of June and now we both have exchange fics to write, so there's no way we're going to finish in time. :/

Anyway, do you have any clue when you could be ready? I might have to pull some last minute extra measures because so far I can't even give people more than 3 days of extension. So far, it seriously looks like I'll have no fic to post on the first day of posting if I do give more than that. So maybe talk it over with your partner and let me know what might be doable via the mod email? I would appreciate it a lot.

At this point, I doubt we'll be able to finish any time soon. Our fic is going to be long, and my efforts to poke about sitting down and getting a lot written haven't been successful. I'm sad because I was really hoping to get it done in time, but there's only so much I can do...

Are you supposed to hear anything from the teams before deadline? Or do you mean that not many have submitted early? If it makes you feel better, team glass ceiling (minus one member now) is in line for a right-on-time submission. :)

It's Baileys, a well known brand of Irish Cream (I think or close to that) around here. Kind of often girly drink, tastes really nice with ice. I think normally they serve it in wide whiskey glasses, but I liked the variation at this place.

Thanks. I might need it, living with students is always a risk but I didn't have much of a choice really <3 At least it is truly only flatmates and if nothing else I can be alone in my room.

Not really, but no one has submitted yet (and there have already been calls for extensions) and there is a really short time set between submitting and posting. I will see how it goes, step by step in the next few days, but I am so happy to hear that someone is on top of their game <3

DoA is coming. slowly (now that we're past a couple of large bumps in the road). It feels like I've been doing most of the writing, but my partner is very busy, as you probably know quite well. At present, the largest issue is probably incorporating our color, but I'm working on it. >___>;

The inside of the tree was all burnt out from many lightening that hit it, I feel it is amazing that it still is so vital.

I know, it's just . . . lot of my friends say this. And I accept it. But I have around 40 active friends on my LJ. I read and try to interact with them on their LJs but if only I comment to them then it is only them choosing topics. It feels one sided. I do not expect everyone commenting all the time or regularly, not at all, but getting one comment per entry is sad. And it makes me feel like I'm just talking to a wall. So yeah sometimes, I get a bit upset and bitchy about it.

Well the partnership isn't only about writing, but it has to most and foremost work for you. If the other person still brings something to the table, it could work. But again, if it feels too much, you should talk about it. And Rei should be a bit better now that the semester ended, shouldn't she? Anyway thanks for the status update and good luck!!!
