HELP?!

SO, as I have already mentioned, Je Fic Games are happening again this year. Here have the link to the big announcement post.

I have a question for you all. We need to think of a theme/prompts for this year and there was the idea of using famous JE quotes. And the perfect example of “What’s wrong with being naked?“

But I am really bad at these things, so the first thing to do is to ask the f-list. Any ideas what else could be used? More quotes from our lovely boys?

In rl news, I have moved, everything went wrong, and I am doing all the things at the same time. I have no clue why I am starting yet another fandom event right now ;__;

Also one more RL question: For some reason, this place attracts little insect like crazy. I have never seen this, not even in mother nature so to speak. I´m using Reid (repellent put into an electric socket) for inside, but all it does is to kill all these tiny, tiny flies and some mosquitoes until the morning. But this means I wake up to my floor covered in little flies. I could vacuum clean every day, and it spreads everywhere. IDK what to do. Any ideas? I need to google if there isn’t a herb that repels them or something so they don’t even want to fly in, but until then . . . suggestion?

My sister made me an insect repellent out of witch hazel and apple cider vinegar before. If you can find those, maybe you could spray it around the windows and doorways or wherever the bugs seem to be coming from. I don't know how effective it would be, but it's worth a try.

I'm trying to think of quotes, but it's really hard to come up with any that are probably known across JE fandom...

Well, the one that's popped into my head is Maru(yama)'s Engrish "I love you so much to you." I'm not sure how that would work for fic, but I'm sure people can come up with something. XD

you already know i like the quotes idea. the first year they did song lyrics, and the second they just did random prompts. i think the interesting part is having four different people write based on the same prompt (for their respective team) and see how different they are. so in retrospect, it really doesn't matter what the prompts are. you could use random pictures, maybe? obviously not of any specific boys, but scenery/stock photos, idk.

as for the bugs, i know gnats are bad here in the summer, so hopefully it's just seasonal? i've found that lighting candles help a bit, though obviously you don't want to leave one burning while you're sleeping. honestly all you can do is keep everything clean (my ocd wants you to bleach EVERYTHING >.<) and maybe look to see if there isn't some kind of hidden something that is producing them. :3

haha they are flying in from outside, there is no nest or anything on my balcony or in the flat (which I've been basically cleaning over and over for the past month). I think the fact there is a strong street lamp right under my balcony might be the cause of the heightened frequency. And yes, I'm already looking for the repellent candles for the balcony so I can sit there after dark. And maybe I'll find plants with impact strong enough to lessen the amount of them flying it.

Gosh, I am also really bad at creating themes. Quotes come in abundance, so that seems like a good idea :)
